What is Dental Implants?
A dental implant is a titanium post surgically placed into the jawbone to serve as an artificial tooth root, topped with a custom ceramic crown that looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth for a permanent tooth replacement solution.
Dr. Dennis Amores is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) with more than 20 years of implant experience in Miami. He plans and places implants for one missing tooth, several teeth or a full arch, and he takes implant revision cases from other offices.

The right option depends on how many teeth are missing and how much bone is there to hold an implant:
- One missing tooth: an implant topped with a crown
- Several teeth in a row: an implant-supported bridge

Extractions, grafting and surgery in the same office
Many implant cases need a tooth removed or bone rebuilt first. Extractions and bone grafting are done in our offices, so the whole plan stays with one team. Our visiting oral surgeon, Dr. Matthew Rand, also sees surgical patients at the Dadeland office.
What dental implants cost in Miami
In Miami, a single implant with its abutment and crown typically runs $1,500 to $6,000. Where your case lands depends on your bone, the materials and whether you need an extraction or a bone graft first. Full-arch All-on-4 treatment typically runs $20,000 to $30,000 per arch.

More affordable ways to get implants
If cost is the main worry, ask us about these at the consultation:
- Monthly financing, so the cost is spread out
- Doing treatment in stages, one implant now and the next later
- Snap-on dentures, which use 2 to 4 implants per arch instead of fixed teeth
- The ADC Dental Plan if you don't have insurance: it includes your exam and X-rays and discounts most treatment
How long it takes
After the implant is placed, it needs 3 to 6 months to fuse with the bone before the final crown goes on. An extraction or bone graft adds healing time before that. All-on-4 patients usually leave the surgery day with temporary teeth.
